Joanopolis Residence is a Luxury House in Brazil That is Nested Between Water and Mountains

Joanopolis Residence is a house between the waters and the mountains. It is the work of the architectural firm Estudio Saracura, the Joanopolis Residence is located in the city of the same name, in the state of Sao Paulo in Brazil. Designed to bring together family and friends, the project is made up of five zones, occupying an area of ​​25,000 m2. Surrounded by nature, the house preserves the essence of the region and the concept of the project, inviting residents and visitors to determine their own space.

Joanopolis Residence is a true place of calm life and leisure and it stands out with its five volumes scattered between the forest and the dam in the heart of a rural area. The Residence sits in perfect harmony with the surrounding landscape. From the main entrance, a path connects the road to the family refuge through the gentle slope of the land to inside the garage. The unique landscape of ten thousand square meters of forest stretching from the islands that cut the horizon at the foot of the Mantequiera Mountains is Revealed.

We love the minimalist architecture that seems to float on the ground. On the left, silence is required with six suites arranged one by one, aligned and independent. Each room is located in one of the these glass capsules with bathroom and direct access to the outside. On the right, there is a large living space, a swimming pool, sauna, and a gym -warm and airy places that invite everyone to meet. Large volumes, high ceilings, and large bay windows are the hallmarks of this part.

We also love the industrial and raw side of the, kitchen, dining room, and we also love the living room which seems to sink into the ground for a modern effect which reinforces the breathtaking view of the landscape.

The Joanopolis residence was thought out and designed to be built by hand. The interior is clean and tone on tone. The lines are quite straight and geometric. Most of these elements were designed by Estudio Saracura from the raw architecture to the steel furniture, including the sinks, worktops, and concrete coverings.
