The new Ghibli Hybrid is the first electrified vehicle in Maserati’s history. The choice to introduce hybrid technology on the Ghibli sedan was very deliberate, with more than 1300 cars produced since its launch in 2013.
This new model perfectly embodies the DNA of the manufacturer from Modena. Entering the era of electrification without abandoning its philosophy and core values was a challenge for Maserati. Therefore, Maserati had to create the best hybrid possible while retaining the unmistakeable and distinctive sound of a Maserati.
The Ghibli hybrid is instantly recognizable, in part, thanks to the new design both inside and out. The common denominator of this change style is the color blue chosen to identify all cars with hybrid technology and to evoke the new world in which they fit.
On the outside, the blue color spreads on the three iconic side vents and on the break callipers. The same blue color appears inside the car, and in particular, on the embroidered the seams of the seats. The new Ghibli Hybrid also stylistic evolutions starting with a new front grill with bars redesigned to represent a tuning fork.
Significant changes were made to the rear of the car where the headlights were completely redesigned in to the shape of a boomerang.
Thanks to a maximum power of 330 horsepower and a torque of 450 N.m, the performance of the new Ghibli Hybrid is excellent. Top speed of 255 K/h and an accelration of zero-100 K/h in 5.7 seconds. The latest generation Maserati assistant intelligent multimedia system runs on Android Automotive Software and offers an innovative user experience that is fully customizable to the personal preference of the driver.
The seamless multimedia systems high definition screen has new graphics, is more user-friendly and goes from 8.4-10.1 inches. This machine comes with a new dashboard and a digital panel.
The new Ghibli Hybrid represents the first step in a plan that will lead to the electrification of all future Maserati models.
