Fat Blasting Mango Oats Smoothie

Skipping a meal is not good. If you are on a reduced diet, try out this liquid food that will balance your cravings and help burn calories. Mango is also very good for maintaining the youth of your skin. Before we get carried away about our Mango benefits for skin, we will just move on swiftly to the recipe.

What you need:

  • 2-3 ripened mangoes chopped (Any size is great but to burn fat, use the small ripened African mangoes)
  • 1 Teaspoon Moringa Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Stinging Nettle
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Hibiscus powder (you can open up that hibiscus tea bag too)
  • 1 cup Oats or Granola by Red Mill (tends to be Non-GMO)
  • 2 cups chilled Almond/Soy milk or cow milk (Ensure cow milk is free from antibiotics and is cruelty-free)
  • 1 Tablespoon chilled Greek yogurt (Browns is a good brand if in Kenya)

How to get it done:

  1. In a blender, add Mangoes and one cup of milk
  2. Slowly add in Moringa
  3. Add Nettle and Hibiscus
  4. Throw in the oats or granola
  5. Add the second cup of milk
  6. Drop in the Greek yogurt
  7. Blend until smooth
