It reaches a point in time where the body gets clogged up and we reach out for regimens to help us reset the imbalance. Juicing is one way of doing a body reset. However we feel that eliminating solid foods and replacing them with smoothies should be done with a careful balance of nutrients. Drinking a concoction made of only celery and carrots alone is not enough as this can lead to malnutrition in adults; bringing in symptoms such as fatigue, dizzy spells, anemia, brain fog, and minimal focus on tasks that require a lot of brain power.
Before taking a smoothie as a replacement for solid meals, it is important to research more on the ingredients of choice. Ensure that there is a balance of amino acids, vitamins, trace minerals, fiber, plant protein, natural sugar, salt, and necessary carbohydrates. Combining vegetables, seeds, nuts, and fruits can be very beneficial as these bounties of nature are often loaded with varying nutrients.
Today we share a recipe that has hemp seeds and hemp milk. Hemp milk which is derived from seeds will not make you high and so far, no THC has been found in the seeds nor milk.
