Have you bought or planning to buy beets and you ask yourself now what? do you want more creative ways to use it? Well, here are some tips
1. SALAD TOPPING
This is best done when you have grated it. It adds flavor and color to your salad and it makes salad eating more fun.
2. MAKING JUICES AND SMOOTHIES
Since beetroot has important nutrients like Iron, vitamin A, B6 and C, potassium, magnesium, folic acid, carbohydrates, antioxidants and soluble fiber. You can make juice or a smoothie for the whole week since you want all the important nutrients at once, it helps you with digestion and it also has a fun color. You can mix beetroot with other fruits to be more nutritious and add sweetness. Chug it up you flexed up athlete!
3. NATURAL DYE FOR HAIR
Although this is temporary, the color will not be as deep as for henna, but it will give your hair a reddish shade and if you want to keep the color shade. Dry the Beets, make a powder in a blender, apply with olive oil and rinse for that flaming red-head situation you wanna get yourself in to.
4. FRUIT OR ICECREAM TOPPING
After you have diced all the fruits you have prepared, grate the beetroot and sprinkle it on your fruits. It not only makes the fruits attractive. 5. FACIAL MASK
Before applying beetroot on your face, make sure you mix with carrot juice to prevent the pinkish color that it leaves on the face.
