10 Awesome Uses of Lemons

Lemon is one of the most widely known and used fruit in the world. Lemon is used to treat colds, for weight loss and beauty purposes. Today I will outline some of the different uses of lemon, here we go!

1. Removes ink spots

Ink stains are one of the most difficult stains to remove. But lemon juice changes all that. When an ink stain occurs, apply the lemon juice immediately on the spot before the ink dries. Rinse it in cold water and it will be as good as new! This means that you should carry a lemon in your bag for such an emergency! No seriously

2. Whiten fingernails

Because lemon is a natural bleach, when you have time put a half a cup of lemon juice in a basin of water and put your toenails or fingernails in the water for 10 minutes. For a quick fix, rub a lemon wedge directly to your nails and it will whiten your beautiful nails.

3. Rid of acnes and blackheads.

For blackheads, apply the lemon directly onto the skin and leave it overnight and rinse it in the morning with warm water. The blackheads will begin reducing within the first two weeks. For a pimple, apply the lemon juice on the affected area twice a day. These things also lighten the areas darkened by acne scars.

4. Cutting boards clean and odor free

The cutting boards can be stained and the strong smells of strong-smelling foods like garlic and onions, for the stains, soak the cutting board with lemon juice added for approximately 20 minutes and clean it as usual this will also remove the strong smells. If it is stubborn, repeat the process.

Add half a cup of lemon juice to laundry whites and wash the clothes, and you will never buy the bleach bottles again!

6. Heal sore throat

Sprinkle salt on a lemon wedge and rub on the area that is stained, rinse with water and the utensils will be as good as new!

9. Keep fruits looking fresh

Fruits like apples and bananas which tend to react with oxygen and turn brown naturally. Squeeze some lemon juice on the fruits before storing and it will still look fresh even if it is left for hours.

10. Cleaning the food grater

Sometimes when you grate some food particles get stuck on the grater and are difficult to remove. Cut half a lemon and rub on the area that has the particles and it will be removed.
